Honey Cheese Balls and Dream Cheese

Ingredients:

8 ounce soft cheese

2 Tbsp almond or oat flour

1 egg

1/2 c panko or cracklins, crumbled

1/4 c honey

Roll your soft cheese into small cheeseballs. Freeze for 30 minutes, coat in flour then egg, then cracklins or Panko crumbs. Airfry for 5-6 minutes at 390, or until lightly browned. Serve drizzled with honey or with a dip. The Dream balls we made go very well with this, but use a bland dip if you use one at all as they are a bit herbed.

Dream Cheese:

Make your soft cheese (I like cream cheese but any will do). After hanging for a day make small cheese balls. Roll the balls in Italian dry dressing mix or a mix of your choice from Cayenne pepper, cracked black pepper, or season salt. Drop into a jar of olive oil one at a time, make sure they are fully submerged.

These will store for a long time but do get a bit stronger in flavor as they age.

To Use: remove from olive oil and drain on a paper towel and also pat dry. I place on a fresh plate and use it with crackers. Does not go well with any fruit i have tried. IF you find one, let me know.
